Your First Assignment!

You have chosen groups for your first assignment. In your groups, you will use How Stuff Works (link on sidebar) to research a particular computer component.

Your first step will be to make sure you understand how the item work. Read the article a couple of times with your group. Do some extra research if you are still unsure.

Next, take notes from how stuff works. Prepare a bibliography of all sources.

Finally, you will prepare a presentation of your findings. We will spend some time next week learning about the presentation.

Welcome to Grade Nine Business Computers!

To start, everyone needs to have an email address and a blog that can be used for this course. Your email should be one that I can use to communicate with you throughout the course.

A Blog is a webpage that is like an online journal. You can post to it just like you would send an email. For this course, your blog will be your workbook and your learning log. You should post to it at least every two classes to summarize what you have learned.

You can start your own blog by going to http://www.blogger.com

Create your blog and in your first post, tell me about yourself. remember that your blog is available online, so you do not want to post personal information about yourself like phone numbers or addresses.

When your first post in complete, email the URL for you blog to me at mrcase.wjh@gmail.com
